Welcome to SEED Summit 2024: Cultivating Change in Agri-Food Innovation.

SEED Summit Prague is more than just a conference—it’s a powerful catalyst for transformative change in the agri-food sector. With a sharp focus on youth engagement, gender equality, innovation, and women’s empowerment, our summit is designed to inspire collaboration, ignite creativity, and deliver actionable solutions to the pressing challenges facing agriculture and agri-food systems. Conference Seed Summit 2024 is organized with support of EIT Food, a body of the European Union and US Embassy Prague.

Our conference is born from a deep understanding of the needs of young people and women entering or working in the agri-food sector, drawing on three years of experience with EWA – Empowering Women in Agri-Food in Czechia organized by cats2cats in years 2020, 2022, and now 2024. This foundation has equipped us with valuable insights into the unique challenges and opportunities these groups face, and it drives our commitment to creating a more inclusive and supportive agri-food landscape.

Join us as we unite diverse stakeholders, including youth leaders, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and experts. We aim to foster dynamic dialogue, share critical insights, and build meaningful partnerships. By leveraging the collective wisdom of our participants, we seek to empower individuals and organizations to shape a sustainable, resilient, and equitable agri-food future in Czechia and beyond.

The summit will showcase keynote addresses from renowned experts who will shed light on the current state of the agri-food industry and delve into upcoming challenges and opportunities. These presentations will pave the way for interactive sessions and extensive networking opportunities, creating an environment where attendees can actively engage, share ideas, build new connections, and chart a course toward a brighter agricultural future. Additionally, the conference will feature a special session called EWA Corner, where you can hear from our EWA alumnae and witness the announcement of the 2024 EWA Award winner.
